WRR is celebrating summer with kid friendly events throughout the month of July. Listen for the Arts Update at 6:52 a.m. weekdays and the Arts Calendar at 5:30 p.m. on Thursdays for fun stuff for the kids to do in the metroplex. See below for more kid friendly events in the area.
Every Friday in July, WRR will be out and about from noon-1 p.m. with ice cream tickets for the first 50 kids. WRR will also have some cool giveaways!
Here's a few of the fun things we've been talking about on the air:
Monday July 7-11 Do you have a young detective in the family? Consider enrolling them in the Young Explorer's Academy at the American Heritage Academy. At this week-long program, your young sleuth will learn to use the same equipment and examine the same type of evidence CSI detectives and forensic scientists use to solve cases.
