Amy Bishop
Spend your weekends with Amy Bishop. Amy hosts the evening edition of WRR's programming on Saturday & Sunday nights from 4 p.m till midnight.

After growing up in Spring, Texas, Amy came to school at the University of North Texas. Her career in radio began at the age of 19 as a student DJ at KNTU. By the end of her college career, she worked her way up to student program director under the thorough and experienced direction of Mark Lambert. Amy has since appeared on many Dallas radio stations, and even presented news and traffic reports on WRR before being asked to join the staff full time.

Amy finished up her days at UNT in 2005 with a B.A. in German and was even an exchange student in Tuebingen, Germany, in 2002. She swears to be one of the biggest living Beatles fanatics, but is also a true enthusiast for all music, especially classical and jazz. (She has a special fondness for the Hammond B-3 organ.)
